New edition of the MERCAT del RAM of VIC 2018
On March 23, 24 and 25, 2018 the city of Vic (Osona) had its annual appointment with the Mercat del Ram, a meeting point for the agricultural sector and a great party for the citizens.
There were livestock exhibitions and contests, agricultural products, recreational, sporting and cultural activities of all kinds and also an exhibition of industrial machinery in which we contributed by participating with machines from our rental fleet: lifting platforms for people, front forklifts, stackers, pallet trucks and also trucks with telescopic boom lift platform and as a novelty, we presented a light all-terrain vehicle equipped with basket and lifting capacity of 14 m, suitable for driving on trails and places of difficult access.
It has been two years since we opened our headquarters in VIC and we wanted to take advantage of the RAM MERCAT to personally contact many of our customers and users and thank them for the good reception we have had so far and the confidence they have shown in our machines and in the rental service of forklifts and lifting platforms that we have offered them since then.
In this edition of the MERCAT del RAM, and with the collaboration of the Sagals d’Osona castle group, we prepared an activity aimed at children, but in the end enjoyed by young and old, which consisted of playing the role of anxaneta on top of a castle of 8 meters.
The activity had no risk because it was to climb on a scissor lift platform, installed to deploy a life-size photograph of one of the castles made by the Sagals d’Osona and comfortably at the top of the castle, to play the role of anxaneta and immortalize the moment with a photograph.
